SURVEY: Should the U.S. Government Delay Transition to Digital TV?

By Dennis D. McDonald

————————————————————————————-

—————————————————

Survey Responses as of January 19 at 10:40 PM Eastern Time:

Yes: 1

No: 4

Comments left by two “No” respondents:

“The conversion date has been set for a considerable time now, and I foresee a lot of confusion if a delay is allowed. It’s probably not going to be an altogether smooth transition whenever it occurs, but I don’t see any virtue in postponing it at this point.”

Anybody who wouldn’t be ready on the current date won’t be ready on a future date. It’s time to make the conversion and be done with it.
