Doug Liman's JUMPER

Doug Liman's JUMPER

Ignore the reviews and enjoy the movie. I wanted to see it because I’ve been fascinated with the concept of teleportation since I first read Alfred Bester’s classic novel The Stars My Destination. This movie is nowhere as dramatically sophisticated as Bester’s novel, but it makes up for that with clever and exciting action and original special effects. Put your brain on hold. One regret: Diane Lane makes only a brief appearance and her character is never developed. A pity.
