Campbell Scott's OFF THE MAP

By Dennis D. McDonald

What a delicate and moving piece of film making this is. It moves slowly and, if you let them, the characters will get under your skin.

Joan Allen is terrific but, really, all the actors are wonderful, even the frequently irritating J.K. Simmons.

If you want to read a complete review that expresses better than I my emotional reaction to this film, check out Roger Ebert’s. Better yet, see this film.
