MIT's Wireless Power Transmission

By Dennis D. McDonald

Reports are coming out of MIT of successful experiments to transmit electricity wirelessly over a distance to power a lightbulb.

Didn’t Tesla already do this? Did he ever patent his stuff?

By the way, David Bowie played Nikolai Tesla in the 2006 movie The Prestige. The lightbulbs-in-the-field scene is terrific, although I don’t think that ever happened.
