Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie

I’ve never seen the TV show, so this movie was a revelation.

I laughed throughout. It made me happy. The sheer silliness was sublime. David Hasselhoff’s cameo is surreal.

Actually, the whole film is surreal, but it’s pitched to kids. That’s its charm.

How many movies can show the main characters getting drunk on ice cream?

Sometimes I see a movie and wish I could have made the movie. When I saw Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie I wished I could be in the movie. Obviously I’ve had too much ice cream!
