Andrew Stanton's WALL•E

Review by Dennis D. McDonald

My first reaction to seeing Pixar’s WALL•E was “This is better than Coruscant!”

Not that I don’t Love Star Wars movies and their technological advances, but this movie, astoundingly, raises the animation bar higher than anything else I’ve seen, and it does it in a funny, engaging, sweet, thoughtful, and entertaining way.

This might even replace Cars as my favorite Pixar movie; we’ll see about that.

Also, I think this movie has finally convinced me I need to upgrade to an HD and Blu-Ray system. This movie is gorgeous.
