Roger Ebert's I HATED, HATED, HATED THIS MOVIE

Roger Ebert's I HATED, HATED, HATED THIS MOVIE

Book review by Dennis D. McDonald

This book is a wonderful and entertaining read. I'm an amateur movie reviewer myself and tend not to waste time reviewing really bad films. Roger didn't ignore the bad ones.

The reviews here are entertaining, educational, and sometimes sad because of the negative or even repulsive subject matter of some of the films. Films (or "movies") reflect the human condition one way or another. Roger is at his best when he injects a sense of morality into his reactions and doesn't just focus on production quality or lousy scripts.

I miss Roger.
