10. I really hate it when group members on Linkedin just use the group membership as a distribution list for advertising & promotion.

15. Turned of Ping from my iTunes account. Ping social features don’t work with music not available thru iTunes. Disappointing.
16. Finished reading Peter F. Hamilton’s “The Temporal Void.” Disappointing. Not sure I want to slog thru “The Evolutionary Void.”
17. Why I won’t be using Ping: “You cannot like or post to Ping about an item that is not offered in the iTunes store”
18. Went to Virginia Wine Festival Friday night at Mt. Vernon, Virginia, overlooking the Potomac. Sunset. music, and wine were terrific.
19. Saw Norman Rockwell exhibit in DC today. My favorite: “Girl Playing Marbles,” the Sept. 2, 1939 Saturday Evening Post cover.
20. I remember when #1 Daughter asked me about phonograph records, “Where do you put the needle - on the edge or near the center?”
